The semifinals on friday yielded a record attendance, over 52,000 people. If Duke wins, this will be the sports story of the year and it will generate a significant amount of buzz. But whatever happens, it won't take away the scars that Selligman, Finnerty, and Evans will have with them for the rest of their lives. When you do a quick google search of their names, terrible articles and images show up. Even if Duke wins, these players are always going to be negatively impacted by what Mike Nifong has done.
