A Deeper Look into the 2007 Miami Dolphins: An Insider's Perspective

Thanks to everyone who linked to this article, including Deadspin. However, due to privacy concerns and a request made by the original source who provided information for this article, we are being forced to temporarily take down the post. Apparently, the Dolphins front office has nothing better to do than trying to track down inside information found on Scrapper Nation. Maybe the Dolphins would be halfway decent if they placed as much energy on their personnel moves. Sorry for the inconvenience...I really didn't think this would blow up so fast...Please don't hesitate to pop me an email if you have any questions or concerns.

Wow. Can't say much else.

And that Beck kid is starting this weekend. I bet he does mediocre, the Dolphins pass up Ryan or Brohm with their top pick and then get stuck again without a QB. How do you pass up Brady last year? This organization is terrible.

This is a horrible read... Go back to Buffalo with that garbage... Waaahhhhh... Ted Ginn likes to chew gum whilke he sprints, waaahhhhh... Gimme a break

you gotta ask yourself if this guy is really a credible source. Any shmuck can claim to have worked with the Miami Dolphins.

whoever just posted that last comment needs to realize the truth, that the Dolphins are a terriblly mismanaged franchise with arrogrant and selfish players. well written article, whoever you are...

they are who we thought they were

It doesn't take an insider to know that this year's Dolphins team was doomed for mediocrity before they stepped on the field.

I'm just hoping that they don't screw it up now by winning some games, and losing out on that #1 pick. Though, with the way they've handled everything else I wouldn't be surprised.

...and probably has!

Screw Brohm. Miami better draft Ryan or I am going to become a Pat's Fan. I have had enough of not haveing a QB to build a team around. I go to all the BC games and know that Matty Ryan is the real deal. That kid is flat out good. Go to www.mattyice.com and check it out your self.

Brohm is a zillion times better than Ryan. Ryan is the most overrated qb in America right now.

YOU ARE A FOOL. Since you probably don't watch him play go check his highlights out. Just a bit of background here, BC has a terrible OLINE and no recivers. So Ryan is putting up numbers without help. Go to www.mattyice.com and watch his passes. He throws balls that no one in the country could duplicate.

I can't believe I wasted my time to read this garbage by somebody that's too scared to reveal their identity... My personal experience in meeting with all Dolphins players has been nothing short of fantastic. Zach Thomas and Channing Crowder are two of the nicest. I have witnessed them signing numerous autographs and posing for countless pictures. But maybe they just do that for real fans and people that care...

This is pure crap and before you ask, yes I am a lifelong Dolphins fan. A big reason the Dolphins are shit is because Ted Ginn is ON THE TEAM, not because he's chewing gum.

This is the NFL and every one is rich. Rich men are selfish and rich men try to fuck hot women. I promise you there are coaches and players on all the other teams that bitch about their charity work and try to get inside the intern's panties. Give me a break...

There are three main reasons that the Dolphins are embarrassingly bad and I will take the liberty of illustrating them for you...

1. GENERAL MANAGERS (Rick Spielman/Randy Mueller) How the HELL did these two retards ever work in the NFL? No seriously, I have yet to see either one do anything other than embarrass himself. The 2007 draft alone should be grounds for firing Mueller.

2. GUYS QUITTING ON THE TEAM (Nick Saban/Ricky Williams) This team has been fucked more times than Jenna Jameson in the past 3-4 years. Sure, I AM a whiney fan, I'll happily admit that. But if you step back and look at the bull shit we've put up with, I'd challenge you to find a team who has dealt with more over the same amount of time.

3. Quarterbacks--Look at this mess... Huard, Fiedler, Griesie, Rosenfels, Lucas, Feeley, Frerotte, Culpepper-the-gimp, Harrington, Lemon and post-concussion-jerk-off Trent Green. How embarrassing, I'd give my left nut for a Trent Dilfer in this group.

So basically, flame me all you want but it is my personal opinion that this "anonymous source" is full of shit. As a matter of fact it is probably some stupid, ditsy blonde, former-intern who is now Jason Allen's babymama and is pissed off because he will no longer return her calls.

Oh yes, please feel free to visit my blog and talk shit about me and my (very sexy) friends!!

vincent,

Are you smoking some of that Ricky Williams Crack?? Matt Ryan reminds me of a dumber less acurate Ryan Leaf.

I tried to check out MattyIce.com, but my boss forbids me from looking at homoeroticism during work hours.

Nappy Headed ho,

sounds like you agree more than you disagree. i like how you add all these stupid references to show your the biggest badass ever. you're so cool.

Vincent-tell me what the hell is wrong with brohm. I'd even consider taking woodson

Come ON Scrapper. You can't do this to me...

You can't write an article and then take it down. Do you think you're a journalist? This is the last time I ever read Scrapper Nation.

"You can't write an article and then take it down. Do you think you're a journalist? This is the last time I ever read Scrapper Nation."

Amen. Why did you take it down? Why do you give a shit about your source? They shouldn't have told you shit if they didn't know this would happen. Reconsider. Your credibility is on the line here.

I just lost all the respect I never had for you.

Readers,

I sincerely apologize for having to take down the post. Believe me, I didn't want to take it down. But I feel it is my reponsibility to show a bit of gratitude and respect for my source, who went out of their way to give Scrapper Nation this story.

I believe it is unacceptable for my insider's identity to be revealed and I will continue to go to any length to protect their anonymity. My apologies, but atleast all of you now know you were reading the truth and everything in the article was factually correct.

The right thing would be to have some journalistic integrity (you can't pull down articles after you post them).

The Scrapper did the right thing here. Earlier this year I posted an article interviewing a freshman at Purdue and asked about Curtis Painter' future. The school got a hold of my article and asked that it be changed and the section on curtis be removed. Any legimate journalist would respect the request of program and/or any individual involved in the article. Every blogger, whether professional or amateur would show this respect.

Good job Scrapper, keep up your good work!
