I received a lot of emails from some of our older (in age) Scrapper Nation readers asking about what “crankin’ dat soulja boy” is and why “kids are so nuts about that crazy looking dance.” For all of you in the dark, it’s just a weird looking dance some rappers made up, but you better get familiar with it because it’s pervasive in youth culture. I was fooling around on YouTube when I stumbled upon about a million videos of everyone and their mom “crankin’ dat soulja boy.”
I had to choose from some pretty good videos, but I’ve narrowed the field down to the top 4 sports-related spontaneous Soulja Boy outbursts.
